2. Radamel Falcao
A number of Europe's leading clubs have been chasing the signature of Atletico Madrid's goal machine Radamel Falcao in recent times, including reining European champions Chelsea. However, Manchester City now appear to be in pole position for the Colombian's services after reports in Spain claimed he is
not interested in a move to Stamford Bridge. That would be a massive boost to Roberto Mancini's pursuit of the player, who has plundered a sensational 27 goals in 31 appearances in all competitions this term. Not that Falcao would come cheap, of course. He is valued at a wallet-breaking £50 million - though any potential sale of Sergio Aguero for £45 million would cover most of that fee. If Mancini has an extra £5 million knocking about somewhere, he could land himself one of Europe's best forwards.
