As United crashed to yet another defeat - their fifth of the season - one thing became clear - the defence of their title is over before Christmas. United have almost lost as many games as they have won (6) this season, while there have been four draws, a string of results which ignominiously leaves them ninth in the table. They're 13 points adrift of table toppers Arsenal and seven off a Champions League place - painful reading for United fans. Now, the Red Devils must focus on catching Southampton, Newcastle, Tottenham, Everton and Liverpool and finishing fourth this term. They can forget about City, Chelsea and Arsenal.
