Man Utd: 10 Reasons Louis Van Gaal Is Doomed To Fail

5. Van Gaal Isn€™t As Invincible As Some People Make Out

It€™s easy to look at Louis Van Gaal€™s record and get a bit carried away. After all, the Dutchman has managed some of the biggest club€™s in world football, and to a large extend his win percentage success has been highly impressive. However, he isn€™t a manager that has never been sacked as you might expect from one of the game€™s so-called great managers. In fact, he was sacked while managing both Barcelona and Bayern Munich; these were arguably his two biggest club jobs. Yes, he has been successful in his home country against Ajax and has done well elsewhere as well, but success is not guaranteed. Many people still regard Manchester United as the biggest club in the world, and the pressure will certainly be on him to deliver results. Pressure and expectancy can do funny things to people. Also, remember that he hasn€™t been involved in club management for a while so we are yet to see how smooth of a return he will make.
