Man Utd: 5 Potential Clubs For Nemanja Vidic To Join In The Summer

3. Galatasaray

This one may be less hopeful as the Turkish side are currently managed by former rival of United's, Roberto Mancini. If this does not prove to be a problem, Vidic would slot into the centre back position with ease and would face little competition, and would join a star studded side containing the likes of Didier Drogba and Wesley Sneijder. The Super Lig champions are currently second behind league leaders Fenerbahce. However, as it stands, with the exclusion of Fenerbahce from European competitions, Mancini's side are set to get a place in the Champions League group stage once again, which may be enough to lure a high profile player such as Nemanja Vidic to the club. After beating Juventus to second place in the group stages this season, the Turkish side will face Chelsea in the knockout phase. Galatasaray may not be the most appealing offer on the table, but they have a fine manager and a solid squad which are likely to challenge for the title once again next season. One benefit of joining a side such as Galatasaray is the lack of competition for a place, in comparison to the likes of Juve and Inter, which will allow Vidic to regain fitness and consistency.
