Man Utd: 5 Reasons Why Nani Has No Future At Old Trafford (And Never Will)

1. The Arrival Of Wilfried Zaha

Zaha The final nail in Nani's Old Trafford career was emphatically hammered in on January 25th. When Wilfried Zaha agreed to join United from Crystal Palace in the summer, Nani's locker had virtually been cleared out. Ferguson will have an embarrassment of riches in at his disposal in wide areas next season, with the aforementioned Valencia, Young and Kagawa all competing for places, Danny Welbeck has also been utilised on the flanks this season, meaning the Portuguese' will fall so far down the pecking order it is impossible to see him staying. At 20, Zaha is a player for the future, but Ferguson will want to give him plenty of room to develop, particularly in the League and FA Cup, meaning there will be little, if any game time for Nani, not just in the league but in all competitions United contest. It's a shame, because Nani promised so very much when he moved to Old Trafford six years ago. Unfortunately, however, there just isn't any room for him anymore.
