5. Loyalty
When you think "greatest Premier League player of all time", perhaps your mind conjures up Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham, or Ruud van Nistelrooy? But what's the difference between Giggs and the aforementioned former United stars? All four of them were successful at Old Trafford, all four of them won silverware, but the one important difference is that three of the four of them left for Real Madrid, and one of them wasn't Giggsy. Not only has Giggs stayed loyal to Manchester United for the entirety of his career, he has stayed loyal to the Premier League, too. The temptations of moving to foreign shores to play in the splendid white of Madrid or the famous red and black of AC Milan never turned his head, and the very fact that he has made 931 appearances for United is a phenomenal achievement. No one has remained as loyal to their club as Ryan Giggs in the Premier League era, and that's just one reason why he is the greatest Premier League player of all time.
