4. His Value To The Team
Not only is Ryan Giggs one of the most loyal players in the history of the Premier League, he's also been one of the most integral cogs in many of Sir Alex Ferguson's teams down the years, and if you can count on any one of the eleven players on the pitch to do a job for you in 90 minutes, it's Giggs. The Welshman may not be the most prolific goalscorer, but he has been extremely valuable to United. He currently holds the record for the most assists in Premier League history, with 271. This is a statistic that is only whispered about in a footballing world where "goals scored" is the most important commodity and as such Giggs' contribution to the side often goes unmerited. The likes of Andy Cole, Teddy Sheringham, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Wayne Rooney and more recently Robin van Persie have tended to steal more of the headlines than the Welshman thanks to their goalscoring exploits down the years, but just remember who made those goals.
