2. Has City's Attack Become Blunt?

Last season, City were in inspired attacking form and winger David Silva was a revelation, banging in 8 goals from the flanks. Sergio Aguero also played a huge part in winning the title for City with his remarkable goal-haul of 30 strikes that season. But neither of them look quite the same players these days. Silva has only mustered three goals from 25 appearances in all competitions and Aguero is 20 strikes short of his tally of last season. Carlos Tevez is no longer the 20-goal-a-season striker he used to be either, and hasn't hit double figures since the 2010/11 season. Edin Dzeko has been good coming off the bench this season as a "super sub" but he has only completed a full 90 minutes five times this season and you have to wonder if he has the match fitness and sharpness in front of goal to keep going for the duration of the season. City need their strikers firing on all cylinders and at the moment they're not.
