As last years Eredivisie Player of the Year,the Ajax utility man would be more than up for the challenge of moving to another league, and his versatility would be a major selling point, as he proved for Van Gaal at the World Cup. With Luke Shaw injured, and a hole in defensive midfield, Blind would solve two problems for Van Gaal, and that's not to mention the fact that he can also play at centre-back, basically making him the perfect option for boosting Van Gaal's squad.
