Man Utd Transfers: 5 Midfielders David Moyes Needs To Sign

2. Luka Modric

It is well known that prior to Luka Modric joining Real Madird he was also chased by both United and Chelsea, but Tottenham were never going to sell him to another British club, reportedly turning down a £40 million bid from Chelsea the season before selling him to Madrid for £30 million. Modric has been nothing short of a failure at Madrid, failing to maintain any sort of starting place since his arrival, however, given a free role at United he would return back to his form at Tottenham and scare defences once more with his quick feet and dazzling runs.

I'm a 24 year old working in insurance; this is not the life I thought I would have as a boy. I was certain I would be playing for England by now, unfortunately I lack the necessary stamina, skill, fitness, strength and technique. However the one thing I do not lack is passion for the game and I am able to, wrongly or rightly, conjure up an opinion about any aspect of the game. Good luck with that.
