Man Utd Transfers: 5 Reasons Wayne Rooney Should Quit Old Trafford This Month

4. He Won€™t Win The Premier League Title At Man Utd This Season

We have spoken a bit about ambition next season, and that will clearly be a concern for the player. However, his current concerns might be more immediate than what may or may not happen during the next campaign. As we know, Rooney is a born winner and wants to win everything that he can season after season. He is in a very odd position with Man Utd at the moment, because he knows that he basically has a zero chance of winning the EPL title if he stays put; it€™s a situation that he probably thought that he would never be in. When talk of him leaving Old Trafford has come up in the past, I always thought it was very odd. My view would be wondering why he would want to leave when he is already playing for arguably the world€™s biggest club. Of course, form and size of the football club aren€™t necessarily related, but he may feel the time has come to make a move. I suspect Rooney will not want to give up on this Premier League title without one hell of a fight. Let€™s be honest here, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City would all give the England striker a far better chance of success this season €“ and Man Utd€™s problems may not be purely reserved to this season.
