Man Utd Transfers: 5 Shock Moves Fergie Could Make Before Window Shuts

1. Robert Lewandowski

Lewandowski According to some reports, the signing of Robert Lewandowski is a done deal with the Polish goal machine having already agreed to an offer of £20.5 million in wages at Old Trafford, whilst his current club Borussia Dortmund are said to have also agreed a fee of £18 million. Everything seems set then for the forward to join the Red Devils in the summer, but how astonishing would it be if Ferguson moved that deal five months forward by signing him this week? Transfer deadline day would explode in a flurry of excitement and United would have five world class forwards on their books in Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie, Javier Hernandez, Danny Welbeck and the new Polish recruit, of course. That striking quintet would sweep away all challenges placed in front of them and would surely go on to wrap up a 20th league title for the club. Wishful thinking? Of course it is, but anything can happen on transfer deadline day. Source(s): Daily MailMan Utd Fans: Do you think Sir Alex Ferguson will buy before the transfer window closes?
