Man Utd vs Real Sociedad: 5 Big Decisions Moyes Must Get Right

1. The Shinji Kagawa Dilemma

Many have complained since the closure of the summer transfer window over David Moyes€™s inability to bring in new players, with many pointing out that it was a creative midfielder that the champions desperately needed. Yet they have had one sitting on the bench all this time in the shape of Shinji Kagawa, who perplexingly hasn€™t been given a look-in under Moyes. It€™s frankly incredible that the Japan international has played a mere 45 minutes of football all season, hooked off at half time against West Brom. Kagawa was a part of one of European football€™s most vibrant sides between 2010-12, helping former club Borussia Dortmund sweep all opposition aside in their back-to-back Bundesliga-winning campaigns. And, having impressed on the continent, you have to wonder if it's time to give the midfielder another chance to prove himself against Sociedad. In the days of Sir Alex Ferguson, games such as these were an opportunity to shuffle the pack and rotate the team - will Moyes use this encounter as an opportunity to give Kagawa a run out? Time will tell. In times of strife, though, surely United would benefit from the creativity Kagawa brings to his game more than they would by continuing to stick with Marouane Fellaini or Ashley Young. What big decisions to you think David Moyes has to get right on Wednesday night? Let us know in the comment section, below.
