1. They Are Comfortable Being Labelled As Favourites
Not only are Manchester United comfortable with being labelled favourites, they also seem to thrive on it and perform better as a result. Some teams struggle with the pressure of being expected to win - just look at the likes of Tottenham and Liverpool in the FA Cup so far this season - but United 9 times out of 10 will come up with the goods when they are expected to. Half of this is thanks to Alex Ferguson's insistence that his team never let their feet off the proverbial gas and the other half is that the club has created a culture of success for itself that the manager, players, fans and board alike are keen on keeping up. They have also been winning competitions for so long that being made favourites is almost second nature around Old Trafford and is almost the hallmark of a Manchester United season. I think Manchester United will be too strong in the FA Cup this season. Do You? Tell us why in the comment section below.
