Newcastle Premier League Managers Ranked By Win Percentage

11. Joe Kinnear - 22.22%

Newcastle United Manager: September 29th 2008-April 1st 2009 Games In Charge: 18 Won: 4 Drew: 8 Lost: 6 Win Percentage: 22.50% Reason For Leaving: Left By Mutual Consent (Ill Health) Alan Shearer's tenure followed Joe Kinnear's controversial reign at St James' Park. Appointed in the aftermath of Kevin Keegan's second resignation in September 2008, Newcastle fans were outraged that such a man could be allowed to take charge - and then things got even worse when Kinnear earned the nickname of "JFK" due to his expletive-laden rant at Mirror journalist Simon Bird. Kinnear claimed just four victories from 18 games in charge before he was forced to step down due to ill health - not that Magpies supporters missed a man who had a win ratio of just 22.50%.
