Newcastle Premier League Managers Ranked By Win Percentage

10. Kevin Keegan (Second Era) - 28.57%

Newcastle United Manager (Second Time): January 16th 2008-September 4th 2008 Games In Charge: 21 Won: 6 Drew: 6 Lost: 9 Win Percentage: 28.57% Reason For Leaving: Resigned ("Constructive Dismissal") When Kevin Keegan returned for his "Second Coming" following Sam Allardyce's dismissal in January 2008, Newcastle fans were positive about the future - but, unfortunately, within eight months everything had turned sour. Keegan won just six matches in 21 games in charge during his second spell - but that was the least of his problems. Mike Ashley's decision to employ Dennis Wise as director of football saw King Kev fall out with the board over incoming and outgoing transfers, forcing him into a position where he resigned. Eventually suing for "constructive dismissal", Keegan's second spell ended acrimoniously - and with a win ratio of just 28.57%.
