Precedent suggests that there will be a lot of goals in the game (unfortunately for Newcastle fans, Liverpool tend to score a lot more than the Magpies), and Simon Bird of the Mirror - notoriously called names by Joe Kinnear - thinks that's the way tomorrow's game will go. The 2-2 prediction is probably not far wrong, given Newcastle's fondness for that score-line this season, but it is a little frustrating to see Bird say that the most vocal of Pardew's critics have been silenced. Even a cursory glance at social media suggests otherwise, and it's always important to remember that one swallow does not a summer make:
