NUFC: 10 People Who Will Get The Loudest Boos At St James Park This Season
10. Yohan Cabaye
It is painful to say it but Yohan Cabaye will receive more boos than cheers when he returns to St James' Park on April 30th 2016. Not many Newcastle fans could begrudge the centre midfielder wanting to play in the Champions League but his decision to not play for the Magpies after they rejected a £10 million bid for his services was widely regarded as poor form from the Frenchman. Despite continuing to play for the Magpies after his little hissy fit, Cabaye then left the club for Paris Saint-Germain and the Geordie nation managed to forget about their star midfielder while he sat on the bench for the French Champions. Then something terrible happened. The 28-year-old was linked to a return to Premier League and as if that wasn't bad enough, he then signed for Alan Pardew's Crystal Palace (and not one of those 'big clubs' that he desired) making most Newcastle fans choke on their cornflakes. His reception will no doubt be frosty when he returns to his old stomping ground next year.
