Premier League: 10 Worst Managers Of All Time

4. Sammy Lee - Bolton

Sammy Lee After the extremely successful Big Sam era at Bolton Wanderers, The Trotters looked to hire from inside the club. Sammy Lee was Sam€™s right hand man from 2005 and in 2007 when Sam Allardyce left the club for Newcastle, Little Sam replaced Big Sam. Bolton hoped by hiring from within they could continue the success of the Allardyce reign, but they couldn€™t have been more wrong. Despite trying to play a prettier brand of football than Allardyce, Lee could only muster one win in eleven matches and by the end of October that season Little Sam followed Big Sam out of The Reebok. Lee was often criticised for being far too positive after matches despite the clubs very poor form and the teams form in that time was unforgiveable. Lee has never managed since his disastrous spell and has kept to what he was always good at, coaching.
