7. Maroane Fellaini (Everton)
Fellaini's towering performances in the centre of midfield for Everton this season, have proved critical for David Moyes' European football ambitions. In fact, if you deduct Fellaini's vital goals out of the equation, Everton would now find themselves lingering in the depths of mid-table mediocrity, battling amongst the likes of West Ham and Stoke City. The mop-haired Belgium has already scored 10 goals this season for the Toffees, (their top scorer in all competitions) and his talismanic performances have thrust Everton up to the right end of the table and into contention for a surprise Champions League challenge. Fellaini is not only immense in the aerial scraps of a game, but also his silky skills and surprisingly close ball control in the confines of central midfield have demonstrated how versatile a player the Belgian really is. Clearly a player of Fellaini's ilk will be and has been recognised as Champions League potential, so should Everton not penetrate the prestigious 4th place this season, Fellaini may well find himself relocating from Merseyside to either London or Manchester.
