Much like Chelsea, the Blues' London rivals benefit in this overall gala of guff by boasting a subtle, almost entirely unadorned number.

'AIA' would look much neater in a deep navy, and quite why the crest needs to be ensconced is unclear, but these quibbles aside, the Lilywhite's new number is one of the loveliest around. It also makes a nice change from Spurs kits of previous years, which have featured all manner of p**sing about, from sashes to yokes to yellow flashes best described as 'urinal'. Top stuff from Tottenham.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
