Premier League: 5 Most Impressive Players So Far This Season

5. Ross Barkley

The Everton youngster has come on leaps and bounds following two successive seasons out on loan at Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United. The 19-year-old has arguably been one of the Toffee's stand-out performers so far and one of the Premier League's more eye-catching stars. Following the sale of Marouane Fellaini to Manchester United on transfer deadline day, the starlet has been given an opportunity to prove himself in Roberto Martinez' midfield and he wasted no time in seizing his opportunity by bagging a glorious goal against Norwich on the opening weekend of the season. Since then, Barkley has started every game for the Merseysiders, putting in a series of dazzling performances, particularly against Chelsea last weekend, a match of which he was exceptional in. His tireless energy levels make him a popular figure among fans, and this kid is seriously going places. Expect him to be nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year Award by the season's end.
