Premier League Predictions: Who Will Finish Bottom Half?

20th: Reading

Madjeski Stadium We're almost halfway through the season now, and it just happened so far for the Royals. Marquee signings, such as Pavel Pogrebnyak, just haven't performed as they can so far, but most importantly, luck hasn't been on their side. The recent result at Manchester City, where they deserved a point, sums this up, as does their performance at Manchester United in a thrilling contender for game of the season. Reading are now on a 7 match losing streak, with only win 1 all season, and goal difference of minus 16. Their one clean sheet came in a 0 - 0 draw, and unfortunately I can't see any other finish for Reading than bottom. They really do seem to be just unlucky. Brian McDermott can be proud of his team despite certain results, but 3 teams have to be relegated, and one has to come bottom. This year, it'll be Reading. As ever, please do comment with your own predictions and opinions.
