1. Enzo Zidane
Less a signing and more a graduation, Enzo Zidane coming of age and swapping Castilla for Real Madrid proper has been a talking point at the club almost since the say he joined. He was appointed the reserve side's captain at the start of the season and
Tribal Football reported that, as of October, been training with the first team. There's clearly a consensus at the club that he's about ready to make the progression. Very much the modern number 10 - all dazzling skills, colourful boots, and youtube videos of his tricks - Enzo's very much in the mould of a younger Bale or Ronaldo than he is of his father. However with a burnout a real possibility for Madrid's biggest stars this season (a fear of rotation being something Benitez was routinely accused of) being able to use Enzo in such a role could only benefit the team. Not to mention the players receiving a few games rest, what with the European Championships to look forward to in the summer. For all the press attention and column inches, Enzo isn't a player who's likely to have the same impact on world football as his father, however that doesn't mean he should hesitate to allow him to have an impact at Madrid. If Zidane senior wants to build a squad capable of returning the club to where they believe they belong, then there's every chance Zidane junior could be a part of that; starting very soon.
