The big centre back celebrated his 36th birthday this past week. Only 36?? He was a mainstay in United's team that flourished so well under Sir Bobby, despite not being the best defender around at the time. You could compare him to an upgrade on Mike Williamson if you were looking for a yardstick in the current squad. Not the best around, but always gave 100%. After all, Andy-O was officially the quickest centre back in world football during the early naughties. (This may be completely made up.) The former Republic of Ireland international seems to be living in Vancouver. He played for their Whitecaps side but was let go at the back-end of the 2014 MLS season when he couldn't agree a new contract. He still seems to have some ties with the Canadian club if his Twitter is anything to go by...
