Southampton Transfers: 5 Strikers To Replace Dani Osvaldo
2. Graziano Pellè (Feyenoord)
We are now moving our attention to the Eredivisie in Holland in search of some real top quality firepower. The first of these options is Feyenoords Italian striker Graziano Pelle. Pelle, is certainly an interesting character given that despite the goals he has scored of late; he still hasnt made a full appearance in Italian national team. The 28-year-old has certainly excelled with Feyenoord, something that started last season when he scored 27 goals from 29 starts in the Eredivisie; he has certainly been able to take that form into the new season by scoring 15 times from 18 starts so far this season. It is certainly impressive form with only Heerenveens Alfred Finnbogason outperforming him with 19 goals from 17 games. Further stats on Pelle this season include 4.3 shots, 2 key passes and 0.8 dribbles; he has also contributed three assists and the best average rating in the league 7.97. We know how hard it is to find a quality striker these days, so this is one player that is likely to be high demand before long. However, it remains to be seen if returning to Italian football will appeal to him more, than trying something new in the Premier League.
