Savickas is the only modern-day competitor to have won every strongman competition on the planet, including World's Strongest Man four times and the World Log Lift Championships five times. It is the Arnold Strongman Classic however that Savickas put together his most impressive run of wins.

After the inaugural Strongman Classic was won by the now retired WWE star Mark Henry, Savickas won the next six contests in a row. This record remains unmatched by any other competitor. In total he won the Strongman Classic eight times, most recently in 2014.

The competition began in 2002 as part of The Arnold Sports Festival, which was founded in 1989 by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jim Lorimer.
