Sport's 10 Most Incredible Winning Streaks

6. Australia Women's National Cricket Team (2018 - Ongoing)

Winning streaks in cricket are notoriously difficult - the five-day format for test matches makes it fiendishly hard to chalk up one win after the other. However, the Australia Women's Team just equalled the 21-match streak set by the men's team in 2003.

Their latest win came on the 7 October, when they beat New Zealand by a comprehensive 232 runs. It marked their biggest ever win over New Zealand, despite the absence of captain Meg Lanning and star player Ellyse Perry making their task all the more difficult.

Exactly when they will get the chance to break the record set by Ricky Ponting's team 17 years ago is uncertain, as the COVID-19 pandemic makes test match touring more difficult than usual. But with their current form, it seems foolish to bet against them.
