Spurs Fans' 10 Most Hated Players Of The Modern Era

9. Wojciech Szczesny

Playing for Arsenal, by default, is a sure-fire way to not be liked by Spurs fans, but the behaviour of their Polish goalkeeper has earned him their pure unadulterated hatred. After a victory at White Hart Lane last season, the stopper stooped as low as taking a "selfie" on the pitch and posted it on his social media accounts. It quickly went viral and earned him the ire of Lilywhites supporters around the world. This clearly spread to the players too as, after a humiliating Arsenal defeat against Chelsea, Spurs' Andros Townsend took great joy in mocking him - asking "Who thinks we will see another selfie from him after today's game?" Not only has he taken said selfie, he also took to his piano after a victory against Spurs - playing "when the Saints go marching in", which is a popular song at White Hart Lane (with "Saints" replaced by "Spurs") - in a clear display of mockery. All in all, this cocky Pole is not well liked by Spurs and their fans - and rightly so.
