Spurs New Manager: 5 Candidates To Replace AVB

2. Michael Laudrup

Michael Laudrup is a perfect fit for Spurs. His current job at Swansea City - who he has turned in to a real Premier League force and a genuine competitor in European competition - makes his appointment somewhat difficult, but if Spurs can seal a deal for next season that would be great (of course, bringing him in now would be even better). An interim manager (such as the next gentleman on this list) could take over while he finishes his job at Swansea and gives Spurs fans something to look forward to. His Swansea team plays wonderful football - and with players that are generally far inferior to those that Tottenham have at their disposal - and at the age of 49 he still has many years ahead of him in management and will no doubt looking to step up a level at some point. His previous managerial experience in Denmark with Brondby (where he won pretty much everything domestically), in Russia with Spartak Moscow and in Spain with Real Mallorca and Getafe means he is very cultured as a manager and he still has a lot of potential to unlock. He's the ideal candidate and Daniel Levy will surely have him in mind, though whether or not he can pull the signature off is another matter entirely.
