Should Leighton Baines join Manchester United, one player who will likely be heading for the Old Trafford exit door is French left back Patrice Evra. Still only 32 years old, the defender still has a few seasons left in him and his experience would be welcomed at White Hart Lane with open arms. A Champions League winner and multiple-time Premier League winner, Evra has developed a winning mentality at United that a club like Spurs and its young squad would find to be invaluable. Evra is reportedly a target for big-spending Monaco - his former club - so Spurs would have to move fast if they were to attempt to acquire the French international. Whether or not they could rival the uber-rich newcomers to Ligue 1 on the salary front is a different matter entirely, however.
