3. Alex Song
You can't help but feel sorry for Alex Song, the ex-Arsenal man has just endured a truly horrid debut season in La Liga. In December, he was voted alongside ex-Spurs man Luka Modric as one of the
worst signings of the season and then, to cap it off, during Barcelona's title celebrations, suffered an
agonising, cringe-worthy moment of humiliation. He was even seen fighting with Gerard Pique during the club's open-top bus parade. All this means he's almost certainly set to be moved on this summer and one realistic destination is Tottenham, according to the
Mail Online at least. Song was limited to just 20 La Liga appearances last season and could be tempted by a return to the Premier League after just one year if it means getting more game time. Considering midfield trio Scott Parker, Tom Huddlestone and Jake Livermore are reportedly set to leave in the summer, Villas-Boas wants the 25-year-old to compete with Mousa Dembele and Sandro for a starting place in his engine room. It would be a shock signing that would certainly ruffle a few feathers at the Emirates next season.
