4. Thomas Ince
Another potential addition to the Spurs midfield is the in-demand Tom Ince of Blackpool. Tottenham toiled at times last season when winger Aaron Lennon struggled with injury and poor form and therefore bringing in another winger would be wise of Villas-Boas. And that's exactly what the Portuguese
intends to do this summer by attempting to sign Ince, the highly-rated youngster and son of legend Paul. The 21-year old England international was superb for the Seasiders last season, scoring 18 times in the Championship and winning the 'Football League Young Player of the Year' award in the process. But those feats have put him on the radar of a number of rival clubs, one of whom is former club Liverpool, where the youngster began his career as a youth. Newly-promoted Crystal Palace are also
surprise contenders for the player's signature, but surely Ince would prefer to play for Champions League hopefuls rather than Championship dodgers.
