Spurs vs Chelsea: 5 Greatest London Derbies

I couldn't possibly not include this match-up in my 5 Greatest London Derbies as an Arsenal fan, or an 'unbiased sports writer'. This match was fantastic. The war with Spurs has raged ever since we moved to their part of town and this era saw Arsenal show their best attacking prowess with a team boasting the likes of Henry, Bergkamp and Ljungberg. It obviously showed a weakened underbelly with the four goals conceded too but why worry when you can score more than the other team? Five goals scored in a mere 20 minutes was another reason for anyone to bill this as one of the highlight games of that year and showed the Premiership was and still is one of the best leagues in the world. I would like to point out that again this was a time when Spurs were knocking on the door with the recent appointment of Martin Jol as manager and in the era of 'The Invincibles', which is still a fairy-tale gunners tell their kids. Will another team repeat this feat? It's hard to say, but one thing I know is that there are many more great London Derbies awaiting us in the future.
