Within the world of football there are many local derbies that have the locals screaming for blood, as the desire to get one over on their rivals reaches even higher levels than your average match-up. On the continent I can point to Real Madrid v Atletico Madrid (which is happening this weekend as the highly billed home debut of a certain Gareth Bale), Inter Milan v AC Milan and of course the fierce hatred generated by Galatasaray v Fenerbahce. However being a Gunner Ive always held the London Derbies close to my heart, despite us in recent years being on the receiving end of several bad results. There is a certain level of intensity about the London clubs when they battle each other which cannot fail to grab your attention, even if you happen to be a neutral. This weekends match between Spurs and Chelsea promises to be a cracker on so many levels, with the former sporting a new look squad and of course Jose Mourinho matching wits with his young scout from Porto, Andre Villas-Boas.
