There's not all that much to say about Steed Malbranque other than that the diminutive Frenchman was a total, pure magician. With magnets for feet, the ball would stick to Malbranque and more often than not he'd do something useful with the ball. His finest moment in a red and white shirt came with the famous double nutmeg of James Milner, and despite being hauled off in most games after 60 minutes or so, they'd usually be the best hours of football you'd see all season. He was a true hero who should've been kept far longer than he actually was.
