1. The Pressure is on Arsenal
Lastly, and most importantly, the pressure is on Arsenal. Their exit to Bayern Munich on goal difference has now given the Gunners 100% focus on chasing that final Champions League spot to ensure their participation with Europe's elite for next season but they'll face an uphill battle to achieve it. Both local rivals Tottenham and Chelsea have a seven and five point advantage respectively over the Gunners already and a resurgent Liverpool are breathing down the necks of the North London team. With just ten games remaining, Arsenal will be under pressure not to drop any points to ensure their Champions League ambitions are kept alive. If they fail to do so, it'll be the first time since 1998 that Arsenal have failed to make the cut. Whilst they do have previous of picking their form back up again come the tail end of the season, this added pressure could either make or break the them. With the existing pressure already on Arsene Wenger and his team the latter could be the outcome.
