2. The Importance of Jack Wilshere
The last time these two teams met at the Emirates in an FA Cup third round replay it was young Jack Wilshere who was the catalyst of Arsenal's success. Not only did he snatch the winner in the 86th minute but also gave a talisman's performance in the middle of the field. There's no doubting the passion that emits from Wilshere when he's on the park and the other Arsenal players almost feed off it to drive them forward. Whilst he may not have the flair of Cazorla or the pace of Walcott, Wilshere possesses the strength, tenacity and vision to further assist the attacking players in front of him. Without Wilshere, Arsenal will be lacking a great ball winner too, something that is of great importance when squaring up against a team like Swansea that keep the ball so well. Mikel Arteta and either Tomas Rosicky or Aaron Ramsey will form the two players behind the attacking three but neither combination truly have the potential to disrupt Swansea's possession play.
