The NBA Season 2015-2016: 10 Reasons To Be Excited

LeBron James is the best basketball player in the world. Sure, he's not won the MVP award the last two years (and Kevin Durant and Steph Curry were both very deserving winners) but no one would watched him in the finals series could argue that he's anything other than the King. The Cavaliers ultimately went down to the Warriors but given their injuries and the Warriors' regular-season dominance, it should never have even gone to 6 games. And it wouldn't have if it hadn't been for LeBron putting in an other-worldly performance, scoring a phenomenal 35.8 points and pulling down 13.3 rebounds per game. Though he'll likely rest a decent amount this year, we have every reason to expect another supernova post-season from him when the Cavs (almost inevitably) take out the top seed in the East. If there's a Warriors-Cavs rematch in the finals, he's likely to go completely nuclear. Despite his age (LeBron will turn 31 in December), he shows no signs of slowing down. And off the court, we can continue to enjoy his always-trolltastic social media presence, whether it's subtweets about Kevin Love "fitting out", Instagram pics of the still unsigned Tristan Thompson or even just adorable videos of his son- that he'll then scold us for watching. Keep it up, King James.
