The NBA Season 2015-2016: 10 Reasons To Be Excited
8. Chef Curry Serving Up Hot Ankle Soup
The 2014-2015 season was the biggest of Steph Curry's career. The Golden State Warriors' point guard received his second All-Star selection, was named league MVP and went on to lead his team to their first championship in 40 years. Pundits began referring to the 3-point-machine as the best shooter of his generation and one of the best of all time. He and his wife also competed for the title of most adorable family in the NBA. Their 3 year old daughter Riley won the hearts of fans when she started appearing with her dad in press conferences (and doing the dougie in her spare time)and they welcomed a new tiny Curry into the world. But the most important thing Steph did last season? Broke. Some. Ankles. In addition to his shooting prowess, Curry is one of the best ball handlers currently playing basketball and his crossover dribble proved impossible to guard. He executed ankle warfare against such luminaries as Tony Parker, Damian Lillard and Chris Paul, the latter of whom actually fell to the ground while trying to guard Curry. Those are three of the league's best point guards and they were powerless in his presence. The scariest thing is, he's looking to repeat as champion this season. Protect your ankles, America. The Chef is coming for them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrsLbtzWIAk
