7. Where To Drink

Unfortunately, there's no nearby pub for away fans, so it's not a bad shout to just drink in the ground, especially on an early kick-off. The concourse is incredibly cozy for close to 3000 fans though, but you'll make some friends at least. The closest - and main - pub for away fans is The Vine (a formerly marvellous establishment that has gone a little downhill since the good old days), about 20 minutes away from the ground on Roebuck Street. There's street parking, but don't drink and drive obviously. The beer is reasonable, and they have legendary kebabs - though they will rot your guts. There's also The Park Hotel, about 10 minutes from the ground, which is a mix of home and away - and has families in, so less likely to see any trouble. Handily you can also park there for a fiver, or on the street for nothing.
