The Hawthorns Ground Guide: 10 Things You Need To Know
8. Where To Park
Thankfully not too much of a problem: if you arrive early enough there's street parking available in quite a large radius around the stadium, though the road systems are changed to help the flow of traffic. Any fans travelling by car who arrive a little bit later should park on the Evans Easy Space Factory Unit Site on Middlemore Road - the same road where the coaches will drop fans who definitely haven't been enjoying a drink on the way down. There's plenty of secure car parks around, some charging £5 and up, and the industrial units (like Evans) or the Hawthorns station provide parking for just £4. If you can't spring the extra quid, there's off-street parking at Lewisham Park, about 500m south of The Hawthorns Metro stop from 3 hours before kick-off and until 2 hours after for £3 for cars and a fiver for mini-buses. Turnstiles usually open about 75 minutes before kick-off, but get there quick.
