West Ham 1-3 Arsenal - 5 Things We Learned

3. Aaron Ramsey is Growing into the Game

Aaron Ramsey had a very disappointing year in the Premier League last season, as he often made poor, unnecessary passes and was terrible in spreading long balls to the sides of the pitch. He looks like a much better player this season, and seems to have a better understanding of the game. It could just be that Carzola and Arteta are making his role as a midfielder easier, but he created a devastating opportunity for Gervinho against City with a threaded pass, and he looked very comfortable on the ball leading the counterattack against West Ham. His goal against Olympiakos in the Champions League should continue building his confidence as he finally moves on from the leg injury he suffered 2 years ago, and with Jack Wilshere making a serious challenge for a starting berth on the team, Aaron Ramsey is a player who has plenty to show and prove on the pitch in the coming weeks.
