Why Arsenal's World Cup Record Just Got Broken
2. Raheem Sterling (England)
This season, Raheem Sterling has been pure gold. The former Liverpool winger has, as they say, 'cracked on' remarkably under Pep Guardiola, hitting 23 goals in all competitions and causing all manner of havoc for leaden-footed Premier League defenders. Assuming he's not completely demotivated by the tabloid media's borderline racist attempts to undermine him ahead of kickoff (as per their usual pre-tournament sales-boosting sensationalism), Sterling could be that long-sought missing ingredient who could make England if not victorious, at least watchable.
