20 Things You Somehow Missed In Andor
3. Season 2 Will Be Structured Very Differently From Season 1
Andor's first season took place over several months (a massive time jump between episode seven and eight largely contributed to this) but the second season's timeline will be far wider.
Compared to the premier season's months-long story, the sophomore entry will cover the next four years before the events of Rogue One. As mentioned earlier, it would have been impractical to have production running across 15 years and five seasons and a much shorter two-season arc felt more feasible from a logistic and financial viewpoint.
Consequently, the second season will be broken down into four three-episode arcs, where each arc will cover a few days of Cassian's life per year before he becomes the Rebel we see in Rogue One.
