20 Things You Somehow Missed In Andor

4. Andor Saw Relatively Strong Success At The Awards Circuit

While Andor did not set streaming ratings on fire in the same vein as the first season of The Mandalorian, its critical and fan reception was overwhelmingly positive. The small screen awards circuit was kind to the Rogue One prequel, as it earned wins and nods from ceremonies such as the Golden Globes, the Primetime Emmys and the Critics Choice Television Awards.

What made this slew of plaudits even more impressive is that a fair amount of them were performance and scripted-related. For starters, Diego Luna is the only actor in the entire franchise (other than the legendary Alec Guinness) to receive a Golden Globe nod for their performance as a Star Wars character.

While award wins and nominations are not always the best indicator for quality, Andor's enthusiastic response was undeniably well-earned and reflective of its impressive craftsmanship.
