10 Greatest Ship Entrances In Star Trek

1. Borg Cube - Et In Arcadia, Ego Pt 1

Star Trek: Picard's first season had its flaws, to be fair. However, two of the most memorable scenes in recent years both come from the show's freshman year, and both of those moments feature the Borg Cube.

The Artefact, as it's been designated, had been annexed by the Romulan Free State, but thanks to Seven's intervention, it is back in the hands of the X-Bs, and ready to fight.

La Sirena has travelled to Copelius, ready to bring Soji home, before it is attacked by Narek in his Snake-Head vessel. There is a fair exchange of fire, and Rios is about to continue when he is distracted, before his eyes open wide.

That's unexpected.

The immense Cube slides out of a transwarp corridor, revealing the Sphere still intact and inside, blasting its way onto the screen and into our eyes and memories. Now, while the following scenes see it taken down by giant flowers, this moment is one of the greatest entrances of a vessel in Star Trek, depicting the sheer size and power of the hive ship. In fact, the next ship to eclipse it would be another Borg Cube, but that wasn't until the third season.
