10 Reasons To Greenlight Star Trek: Legacy NOW

5. It's Cast Itself And The Cast Itself

If the name is an indication, the show has to be about the legacy of Star Trek as well as the bold, new adventures of a fated ship called Enterprise.

It's an even more prime opportunity than Picard to bring back a plethora of characters from the history of Star Trek, specifically in the 24th Century. Picard's producers kept the return of Ro Laren a super secret and with this show there are still a great deal of planets and adventures to re-explore. That would allow for the legitimate return of main and guest stars who created Star Trek magic in the 80's, 90's and 2000's. Not just Q but more of the Voyager cast! Bashir! Ezri Dax! Tosk!

Fans surely have to know if Harry Kim got that fabled promotion, even if it was to Lieutenant (jg) for another seven years. Did the Doctor choose a name? Barclay also seems to be one of the names floating around in the social media cloud that would sit right at home in Legacy. The chance to pull together the strands of multiple characters has to be extremely enticing and it seems a day doesn't go by without another Trek alumni raising a hand to drop by the Alpha Quadrant.

A Star Trek fan from birth, I love to dive into every aspect of the franchise in front and behind the screen. There's something here that's kept me interested for the best part of four decades! Now I'm getting back into writing and using Star Trek as my first line of literary attack. If I'm not here on WhatCulture then you're more than welcome to come and take a look at my blog, Some Kind of Star Trek at http://SKoST.co.uk or maybe follow me on Twitter as @TheWarpCore. Sometimes I force myself not to talk about Star Trek.
