10 Actors You Didn't Realise Were In Star Wars: The Clone Wars
4. Tim Curry (Chancellor Palpatine)
Spoiler Alert: Chancellor Palpatine is actually Darth Sidious-the evil emperor from Return of the Jedi, and he's actually a really bad man who tortures aspiring teenagers through the method of electrical shock. This dude's bad, quite possibly almost as bad as Tim Curry, the actor who began portraying him following the unfortunate and untimely death of Ian Abercrombie, who passed away before the voice recording for the show's fifth season had concluded. It's unknown how an individual such as Curry snagged the role of Palpatine, but he did, and that's what makes him fourth on this list. Naturally, Tim Curry is known primarily for his role as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, but lately has not been seen as often in productions when he's not scaring the bejeesus out of people dressed as a clown. Curry's talents, however, do not go unobserved he's a film, voice, television, and stage actor, thus applying his talents on a variety of fronts. As of yet, he's only played Palpatine in a sole episode: season five's finale, The Wrong Jedi, but he'll be back in many of the thirteen unreleased episodes coming this week.
Hey there, I'm Joseph, a college student, and a huge fan of a variety of nerdy stuff. Ultimately I'm a big-time Star Wars fanboy, and an avid Nintendo fan. Some of my favorite video games of all time include Super Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the Paper Mario series, and Metroid Prime, but I am known to greatly enjoy other games like Call of Duty, Battlefield, and Halo. Star Wars is my obsession, and I'm a massive Clone Wars fan and will never overcome Disney's cancellation of the series. I'm thrilled to write for What Culture, and I hope you all enjoy my articles!
