10 Actors You Didn't Realise Were In Star Wars: The Clone Wars

5. Jon Favreau (Pre Vizsla)

If the name Jon Favreau doesn't ring a bell, you probably don't like Iron Man, and that's okay, because not everyone's a fan. However, Favreau is an actor too, though directing is his prime directive (see what I did there). He portrays extras in countless films, and occasionally even small roles. His role in The Clone Wars stretches from season two to season five, where his character truly comes across as a force to be reckoned with (no pun intended). Vizsla is the leader of Death Watch, a Mandalorian terrorist group that acts as a strong anti-pacifist, anti-Mandalorian government rebellion. In season five, Vizsla hesitatingly conspires with the resurrected Darth Maul to reclaim Mandalore, but of course underestimates the power and authority of the Sith. This temporary partnership turns out to create the backbone of The Clone Wars' most exciting story arc yet. Vizsla is no rookie to warfare either, proving his hand on hand combat, and extensive weaponry knowledge can more than make up for his lack of force abilities. He is what Jango Fett should have been, and of course his costume design is based off of Jango's (who also wore Mandalorian armor).

Hey there, I'm Joseph, a college student, and a huge fan of a variety of nerdy stuff. Ultimately I'm a big-time Star Wars fanboy, and an avid Nintendo fan. Some of my favorite video games of all time include Super Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the Paper Mario series, and Metroid Prime, but I am known to greatly enjoy other games like Call of Duty, Battlefield, and Halo. Star Wars is my obsession, and I'm a massive Clone Wars fan and will never overcome Disney's cancellation of the series. I'm thrilled to write for What Culture, and I hope you all enjoy my articles!
